It's not bad for a first attempt! Just be sure to pay attention to the timing, especially when you change from verse to chorus. 16 beats per bar...yo :P

Diggin' this. I like the idea of bringing amateurs together in a mix, and I enjoyed this wayy more than normal dance mixes that are vomited all over the syndicate media, rather, played today.

I love me some happy hardcore :)

Great sounding piano, strings, bass, and glass...of course.

Aww yeah! Glad to see a fellow hardcore lover here on Newgrounds :)

Great Melody, but the kick/snare aren't quite there. For track of such high energy and motion, that does play against it. Also, the use of a compressor on the flute-synth could prove helpful as well, while it is a great sound and catchy melody, it does tend to over power the other instruments.

As for the rest - very nice work, the breakdown was done very nicely, and the melodies are insane. The leaps made on the bass and especially on the flute give the song that rush, and all of the instruments work well together.

I really enjoyed this, great work.

It's quite nice, seriously I really like it, but it feels like it's missing a bassline, is that intentional?

I feel a sub-bass line could really add to the beat and give it a lot more drive. But then again, that's a 'traditional' view and we all are artists here.

You sure deserve props for one of the best reviews I have ever read. Many people like to follow the rules of music. I do what sounds nice to me. You can't believe how many people usually say stuff like "It needs to have a sweep here. Where's the sweep? The song shouldn't stop like that, it should have a sweep or drop. ETC." I am glad you like it, and I do agree with you that it probably may sound better with a bassline. I just liked the way it made me feel and I ended it there. Don't get me wrong, I may remake this four months later and add one among other things. Anyway, thank you for the awesome review!

Peace and love,

David Bowie is that you!?
Lovely work :D

Great job with the stereo effects, and all the ear candy generates a cool atmosphere before the melody hits. Good work.
